The light comes on when you touch the button for 10 seconds and gradually dims over the course of 10 seconds upon release. So it does not stay on when you want lights out. This hand control works on Golden Technologies, Med-Lift, Pride, Catnapper, Flexsteel, Palliser, Franklin, MegaMotion, Best and many other brands.

The terminal end of long coiled cord on this hand control has a round five pin connector at a 90 degree angle that will connect to your motor.
