Functional Description of the Golden Technologies Bed Control

This discusses the operational functions of the Golden Technologies bed control command through the use of the hand-held pendant and remote. The following seven functions can be performed using the six keys on the pendant.

3101 Series Following Five Operations
Hand Held Pendant

Head Up: Pressing and holding the Head Up key will cause the head of the bed to rise until the key is released or the circuit board switch is tripped.
Head Down: Pressing and holding the Head Down key will cause the head of the bed to lower until the key is released or the circuit board switch is tripped.
Foot Up: Pressing and holding the Foot Up key will cause the foot of the bed to rise until the key is released or the circuit board switch is tripped.
Foot Down: Pressing and holding the Foot Down key will cause the foot of the bed to lower until the key is released or the circuit board switch is tripped.
Lay Flat: A Lay Flat operation can be commanded in two different ways, by pressing the Head Up key while the Head Down key is pressed, or on the circuit control box under bed, pressing the color reset button.

MASSAGE FUNCTIONS (4101 Additional Operations)
Hand Held Pendant

Head Massage: Pressing the Head Massage key will cause the head massage motor to sequence to the next speed. The Cyclical Sequential Order of the motor speed is high, medium, low, and off.
Foot Massage: Pressing the Foot Massage key will cause the foot massage motor to sequence to the next speed. The Cyclical Sequential Order of the motor speed is high, medium, low, and off.
Lay Flat with Massage: When the above lay flat steps are performed the massage motors are turned off (if they are on), and the head down and foot down motors are energized for approximately 35 seconds. During these 35 seconds, the massage functions are disabled. However, the lay flat operation can be terminated before the 35 seconds are up by pressing any of the four up or down keys. (Note that before using any functional buttons the 35 seconds time period must elapse to have all complete functional operations.)

REMOTE FUNCTION, Additional (5101 Only)
Remote Version above plus following
Massage Off: Pressing the Massage Off key, center located on remote, will cause both the head and foot massage motors to turn off.
Lamp Control: A momentary press of the Lamp Key will toggle the state of the lamp, full-on or full-off. Pressing and holding the Lamp key will gradually raise the intensity of the emitted light until full-on is reached, and then continue by gradually lowering the intensity of the emitted light until full-off is reached. Releasing the key at any point in this process will leave the intensity at that level.
