This replacement hand control works for all 11540 and 11540UX hand controls. This hand control is used on about 10 different brands of lift chairs, including La Z Boy, Best, and Med-Lift. So your old hand control may have any furniture company name stenciled on the front. Often when this hand control fails the switch will only move the chair all the way up or all the way down and stop. If that is your problem this new hand control should fix it.

Sometimes the Face Plate on the replacement hand control or your old hand control will have a slightly different look or name on it than the photographs and the buttons may be arranged slightly differently. The universal replacement we ship out will most likely be labeled Relaxor and appear like photo number one on the right.

Model 11540 is the original style and look and may have lights that dim out. The new style is labeled 11540UX. It has soft blue back lighting that may stay on for safety purposes. It has a round 8 pin, straight angle connector plugs with 7 pins in a semi-circle and 1 pin in the center as shown in the second photograph.
